The Orchid Lady is a family-run orchid shop and florist in Clearwater, Florida. We sell rare orchids, bromeliads, bonsai, and other tropical plants, and we help plan floral arrangements for weddings and events.

Our shop is on the lower level of Countryside Mall, next to Dillard’s, at 27001 US Hwy 19 N, Suite 1019, Clearwater, FL 33761. You can reach us at (941) 504-4053. We operate this one location, in Florida.

Information you give us

This website does not have a contact form, newsletter sign-up, or any other online form, so we do not collect any personal information through the site itself. If you call our shop or visit us in person, you may choose to share information such as your name or phone number directly with our staff — those conversations happen the way they would with any small retail shop, and are separate from how this website operates.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually every website, ours automatically records some technical information each time it’s visited: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site that referred you here. This is captured in standard request logs and basic site analytics kept by our web host, Hostinger, and its content delivery network, Cloudflare. This website does not use cookies, and no analytics or advertising script runs in your browser.

We use the limited information described above only to:

• Operate, maintain, and secure this website.
• Understand, in a general and aggregate way, how the site is performing — using Hostinger’s built-in site analytics and Google Search Console.
• Respond to you if you call or visit our store, the same way any local shop would.

We do not use advertising pixels, cookie-based analytics, or other tracking scripts on this site. Like any website, our hosting provider logs basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you here — as part of standard web server activity. Our host also provides us with aggregate traffic statistics derived from these logs. We do not use any of this information to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.

The fonts you see (Cormorant Garamond and Crimson Pro) are built directly into the website and served from our own server, not loaded live from Google’s servers, so no data about you is sent to Google when a page loads.

We do use Google Search Console, a free tool that shows us how the site appears in Google’s search results. Search Console doesn’t run any code on this website and doesn’t collect information about you as a visitor — it reports data Google already has from its own search index.

We also maintain a free Google Business Profile listing for directions, hours, and reviews. Anything you share when you leave a review, send us a message, or request directions through Google is collected by Google directly, not by us, and is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Because no cookies or script-based trackers are used on this site, there is currently nothing here for browser-level opt-out tools or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off. If we ever add script-based analytics or advertising tools, we’ll update this policy and add opt-out instructions before they go live.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We don’t use a CRM, email marketing platform, advertising network, or IDX/MLS service on this site. The only parties with any access to information related to this website are:

• Hostinger, our web hosting provider, which processes standard server log data (like IP address and browser type) to serve the website to you.
• Google, through Search Console (aggregate search-performance reporting only) and our Google Business Profile (governed by Google’s own privacy policy for anything you share there).

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our business or others. If The Orchid Lady is ever sold or changes ownership, information described in this policy could be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We don’t collect information through this website beyond the standard technical logs described above, so we don’t maintain a database of visitor information. Our hosting provider retains server logs only for as long as it needs to for its own security and operational purposes, under its standard practices.

We take reasonable administrative and technical precautions to protect the limited information connected with this website and to securely dispose of records when they’re no longer needed. No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security. We don’t hold any specific security certifications for this site.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing, of the sale of personal information, or of sharing for targeted advertising. Because this website doesn’t collect personal information through forms, doesn’t sell information, and doesn’t run targeted advertising, there’s generally very little for us to act on — but you’re welcome to ask.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws.
